Conway stewart 1202m lever filler fitted with a new sac and in working large 14ct gold nib thick 9ct gold band on hte cap. This is a really fantastic and rare pen, i have not seen many at all like this. Condition. The general condition of the pen is very good.There are no major scratches or blemishes at all to be noted. The pen is wood grain mottled effect, both the section and the feed are wood grain too, makes this look really attractive. The pen has a thick 9ct gold band aruond the cap in good condition. The clip is the older style fixed clip and in good condition, apart from some plating loss on the ball and top. The cs logo in imprinted on the clip. The barrel imprint in faded but it is clearly visible. The lever is an interesting and unusual lever for cs pens. It has a flange lever htat is in good condtion apart from some plating loss. The 14 ct gold nib is in good ocndtion it is massive compared to most conway pens. The tip looks like a fine tip but still with a good amount of iridium. The pen is fitted with a new asc and is in good working condition. This is a rather large conway stewart pen and it is a really fantastic and rare collectable fountain pen please look closely at the photos as this is a hard to miss item! This series of pens made in the 30's / 40's were very expensive and top quality models hence the gold band. The nib is 14ct gold and reads conway stewart 14ct gold there is a number under the section 8? On the barrel is written the conway stewart no 1202m made in england. hTere is a patent around the barrel pat no 235447? Please ask if you need any more photos or have any questions.
